School of Pharmacy Technician

The Department of Pharmacy Technician is one of the Departments in Edo State College of Health Sciences and Technology, Dumez Road, Benin City. The Program is regulated by the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria empowered by the PCN (Establishment) Act, 2022 to determine the standards of knowledge to be attained by persons seeking to practice pharmacy in Nigeria.

TRAINING OBJECTIVES:To train suitably qualified persons in the basic knowledge of handling simple medicines for use at grass-root level under the supervision of a registered Pharmacist. To train suitable persons to the level of rendering effective assistance to registered Pharmacists.
