COLLEGE MANDATE

  • Provide facilities for learning and to give instructions and training in such branches of knowledge as the College may desire to foster; and in so doing, to enable students to have educational training in Health and Technology Disciplines
  • Encourage and promote scholarship and conduct research in all fields of learning and human endeavor and more particularly in the Health Sciences and Technology

Align its activities to the specific healthcare and manpower needs of the State 

  • Offer such other courses of instruction as are approved by the Governing Council of the College
  • Undertake such other functions and activities as in the opinion of the Council may serve to promote the objectives of the College

OBJECTIVES OF EDO STATE COLLEGE OF HEALTH SCIENCES AND TECHNOLOGY

Educational Excellence: Provide high-quality education and training in health sciences and technology to produce competent and skilled professionals.

Research and Innovation: Foster a culture of research and innovation to contribute to the advancement of knowledge in health sciences and technology.

Community Engagement: Engage with the community to address health-related issues, promote health awareness, and provide healthcare services.

Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Facilitate collaboration and interdisciplinary approaches among various health science and technology disciplines to address complex health challenges.

Professional Development: Support the professional development of students, faculty, and staff to stay current with advancements in health sciences and technology.

Clinical and Practical Experience: Provide opportunities for students to gain hands-on clinical and practical experience to enhance their skills and prepare them for the workforce.
